Metabolic Analysis Tools
by Genostar
Extend comparative genomics to the metabolic level
Metabolic Pathway Builder is our comprehensive software suite which seamlessly integrates a wide range of analytical methods for your genomic, proteic and metabolic research, enabling your team to perform comparative genomics, predict protein functions and enzymatic activity, and both explore and visualize metabolic pathways including those specific to your organisms.
With our user-friendly, integrated software, no re-assembly of data is required when moving from one means of analysis to another.
Metabolic Pathway Builder is available in stand-alone Professional Desktop Version, or Client-Server Version for collaborative work.
The combination of Metabolic Pathway Builder and Genostar's MicroB database links the software's powerful prediction capabilities to a database of exceptional quality and breadth.
PathwayExplorer enables you to perform comparative genomic and metabolic analysis, predict enzymatic activity and both explore and visualize metabolic pathways.
In addition to all the functionality of PathwayBrowser, with PathwayExplorer you can:
- compare a list of genes and visualize the reactions in which the genes are involved;
- understand how the metabolic pathways are affected: visualize the metabolic pathways in which the reactions linked to gene products are involved using KEGG maps;
- create a list of genes implicated in a metabolic pathway and visualize their location on a genomic map;
- identify the regulatory signals conserved in an ensemble of genes;
- calculate homology relationships between the coding sequences of multiple organisms; and
- predict enzymatic activity and explore the metabolic pathways that are specific to your organism.
NEW!! PathwayBrowser version 2.0 now available
With PathwayBrowser you can query and navigate the databases to:
- compare genomes and identify genes specific to your strain or species;
- identify and display the reactions catalyzed by the product of a group of genes, for example, specific or co-regulated genes; and
- visualize the metabolic pathways in which these reactions are located.

Use KDB Explorer to explore, visualize, and analyze KEGG data directly. Add the results of your analyses to your proprietary data.
All of Genostar's software comes with initial training to apply the tasks, tools, and queries effectively.
Additional advanced training is also available.
