Genostar’s Development Kit makes it easy to:

-       Integrate your own methods and algorithms into your Genostar software

-       Create customized pipelines of methods.

Some examples of what you can do:

-       Create a standardized annotation workflow for your research group or organization by linking a series of annotation tasks in a comprehensive and easy to use workflow requiring just a few clicks. 

-       Connect the IOGMA Metabolic Pathway Builder platform to your existing in-house databases and import your existing data for further exploration and analysis.

How does it work?

Integrate any proprietary sequence of methods or queries that you have created in-house and add functionalities to your IOGMA platform by creating one or several tasks.

A task combines one or more methods to be applied on input data inside a software module. You can use two types of tasks according to the type of functionality you are integrating. Both come with intuitive graphical editors adapted to the task:

• Graphical tasks  - built as a sequence of existing (sub) tasks.  Graphical workflow editor provided.
• Textual tasks - written in Java. Colorized, graphical Java text editor provided.

With Genostar’s Development Kit, you can create the specific workflows & tasks most pertinent to your research and make them available to all IOGMA MPB users within your organization.
