BacDat datasets

Genostar's BacDat datasets are customized, ready-to-explore datasets of 1-4 organisms. A BacDat dataset is created from the results of a specific data analysis.

• BacDats include all the genomic, proteic, and metabolic annotations in MicroB on your selected microorganisms

Plus additional, expert, in-house calculations such as:

• Homology calculations: Calculation of homology relationships between replicons of multiple organisms to identify common or specific nucleotide regions

• Coding sequence identification to identify all CDS specific to each organism

• Prediction and confirmation of enzymatic activities as EC numbers

• Identification and visualization of the metabolic reactions and pathways catalyzed by enzymes specific to each organism
